Hello everyone! I am reaching out to you for help in diagnosing a problem with Bambu Studio software that occurred during my latest project. The issue concerns the incorrect interpretation of geometry after the slicing process.
Project description: The project is a keychain with an embedded QR code. The model consists of multiple overlapping objects in two colors, exported to .3mf format.
Problem: After slicing the model in Bambu Studio, the software incorrectly interprets the defined solids. As seen in the attached photos (Preview view), fragments of the QR code are being cut out or covered by a black background in an illogical way (characteristic triangular artifacts are formed). Interestingly, everything looks correct in the preview before slicing (Prepare).
What I have already checked and tried:
File format: I previously encountered similar issues with the .obj extension, which is why I switched to .3mf, and until now, everything worked correctly.
Wall generator: I tried changing from Arachne to Classic and vice-versa - unfortunately, this brought no improvement, and the geometry errors are identical in both modes.
Comparison in OrcaSlicer: I sliced the same .3mf file in OrcaSlicer using the same settings. The result? OrcaSlicer interprets the file 100% correctly, which suggests that the problem lies directly in the Bambu Studio engine code or some specific regression in its latest version.
Cross-Platform Testing: I have confirmed this isn’t a local OS issue. The bug persists on both macOS and Windows 11
System:
I am using the version 2.5.0.66 for macOS (MacBook Pro M2).
And testing version 2.5.0.66 for Windows 11
I have H2D Combo printer.

Has anyone encountered such a problem with Bambu Studio regarding 3MF files recently? Could it be a matter of some hidden setting or operation that might have changed in an update? I would be grateful for any suggestions because the project is important to me, and currently the only solution seems to be abandoning the official slicer in favor of Orca. I am attaching photos from Bambu Studio and OrcaSlicer for comparison.
Thank you in advance for your help and I wish you trouble-free prints!
