I am trying to mass-produce objects that should take around 7 hours to print… Bambu Studio says they will take over 20 hours… why is this? I recently deleted and redownloaded Bambu Studio… and now it is being slow and weird.
Any tips would be greatly appreciated!
Let’s start with, have your rebooted your system yet? I know it’s the cliche suggestion but it does often solve lots of issues.
You could always try to just print it anyways. It might be a little different, but on Handy I have seen models that say they will take 4 hours, only to take 2, or opposite, where in a TPU print, it said it would take 4 hours, but actually took 6. It might not be the same, but you can always try it and see if it is correct. And of course, even if it does, that doesn’t fix the problem, but it could just stuff work.
Are you saying restart my PC/ laptop?
Yes. Normally the first thing you do when experiencing odd issues.
I just did that, and I will let you know my results
There is no change, still big amount of print time.
How many filament changes? Timelapse enabled? Layer height?
If you open an old project do you see the same exaggerate time?
There are four filament changes (which I planned), timelapse affirmative, layer height is 0.2mm
Perhaps you enabled ironing? Grasping at straws here without you providing a .3mf file.
Ok… I forgot to mention something pretty big… I used the Bambu AI file generator to make a running shoe… perhaps this is the issue? It is my bad that I forgot to include that important piece of information.
