Hard to explain the problem so I made a video
Rotate the parts, place them in a different spot…
If in doubt do one part, check if it slices ok, then clone it and check again.
Not helpful. Has nothing to do with orientation.
When the software slices the part on the left with those top yellow objects , it makes changes to the layers below it. i need the first 3mm/30 layers to slice the same way as the part on the right.
i guess i can just seperate the parts and print one on top of the other… have to figure that out.

Try not to be rude when others offer you suggestions.
They are guessing based on no model and by your own admission, a difficult problem to describe.
You do not set yourself up for assistance that way.

This appears to be a problem with you painting a model that is made up of parts.
Bambu Slicer often has issues with this.
If you designed the model, try exporting the parts you coloured as distinct parts and import them together as a single merged model. Drag and drop so it triggers the automatic merge check.
This will keep all the model parts in the same relative locations.
Then using the objects panel, change the colour of the individual parts which you imported as distinct shapes per colour and change each part to the correct colour.
This will also have the benefit of making the colour only affect that specific part and not move further into the model.
I made the suggestion because more often than not the slicer behaves differently when the part is rotated or placed further away for another part.
And without the files to check it was the only suggestion that wouldn’t open a rabbit hole of guesswork.

The way I was importing as a single STL made up of multiple wireframes from my design heirarchy and then clicking the (P)- Split into parts button already had the same effect as your suggestion for import.
The solution is found in “Using the OBJECTS panel” to select part color.
