Bambu Studio Update loads files poorly

Loading existing 3mf files is painfully slow to a point it opens multiple windows.

I run a Mac Book M4 Pro, with 24GB of RAM

Same here started after today’s update. I am also on a Mac. I believe it is BL server authentication issue super slow. I am betting BL could be closing the back door access everyone has been talking about. Just a guess. Please fix it BL.

Similar problem with me. Also crashing quite often… I can’t even start a print now. Did not have this issue before today’s update.
Running on M4 Mac Mini. macOS Tahoe Version 26.3.1.
Uninstalled, rebooted, reinstalled. Still happens.
I do have tons (24) of pending app updates. (Other apps, not Bambu Studio). Will do those, reboot, reinstall Bambu Studio and report back here if it (magically) fixes BS.

Same here on Mac Mini M2 Pro. MacOS Tahoe 26.5.1 and Bambu Studio 2.7.1.57. Had no issue with previous version or Beta version.

Same issue for me on Mac Mini M4 and Tahoe 26.5.1

This seems to help. Of course I had a reason to deactivate this option, but until BL gets this issue fixed, I leave it on. Thanks for the hint.

tried this out, took 5 minutes to load :expressionless:

Same problem here MBA M4 latest macOS. I downgraded to the previous version 2.7.0 PB for now as it works perfectly.

Last night I deleted 2.7.1.57 and reloaded beta 2.07.00.50. I also noticed a Mac update notification this morning. I have not to update yet. Has anyone loaded the Mac updated and tried running the new version of Bambu Studio 2.7.1.57? Maybe it was an Apple issue not a Bambu Labs issue.

i coudn’t downgrade because i opened the file in the new version already, the previous version wouldn’t load the updated 3mf :expressionless:

I should have Stated in my last post that I am on a Mac M2 mini OS Tahoe 26.5. Rarely use the mobile app.

Doesn’t help to be honest. Still slow

Yeah I see just how bad it is now. I deleted the program, the entire support folder under my Library folder and same thing. I’m on an Intel based Mac with a discrete GPU so it’s not the Apple M processors either. I just have most of what I’m printing on the printer and haven’t sliced anything lately so was surprised at just how bad it was today.

Major ticket issue on GitHub is being investigated; I suggest to add your log and input as well.

Pretty much everyone with macOS.

Same here, and I am at least able to monitor on my Android phone. (I don’t normally start, may abort, from phone though….)

I have no issue opening files that have been saved with newer version.

Same here. Found this forum searching for a reason…
