As someone that gets into pointless arguments enough to recognize one when is going on. You guys both need to chill.
The only fact that really matters is that StreetSports uses his XL and likes it, he finds value in it, and so for him it wasn’t a waste of money or anything. So what exactly is the issue?
Any time I’ve seen StreetSports post pictures of his XL, it’s full of multi-color prints. Like he’s seriously putting that thing to multi-color use and lovin’ it, apparently.
I don’t find printer poop to be such an issue, but I don’t do mult-color prints on the scale of street sports, so. I don’t think it’s worth getting into the arguments of the actual poop saved or wasted. I mean there’s other factors too like the time lost that eats into the cost of things. I avoid big multi-color prints on the X1 as a commonality more so because the time cost is expensive.
The “Well Technically” aspect of it just doesn’t matter at the end of the day.

I literally have nothing to apologize for, it would take 350kg of saved poops for an XL to pay for itself with savings.
the XL has barely been out long enough to have printed 350kg let alone to have saved that compared to an X1C printing and needing to swap colors.
like dude, the XL doesn’t have to be the most cost efficient for you to like it. Why are you just unable to accept that you made a physically impossible claim and then move on?

I’m just exhausted from seeing this level of infighting and bad blood within this community over points that are essentially pointless.
I’ve got into a number of arguments with people, streetsports included, because I thought I was “right”, at the end of the day though, I wasn’t right at all. Maybe technically? But socially… All I did was prove to everyone that I was a jackass and lost friends.
To put it into a little more perspective. I’ve got into a few deep arguments with StreetSports before, to the point the mods came in and broke the fight up.
I recall one day I was browsing around the forum though and saw some post by StreetSports that showcased some of his Voron upgrades (I believe it was?). They looked cool. It kind of hit me though; we’re basically enemies, but why? I didn’t feel like I could jump in and talk about those cool looking upgrades and prints because of the bad blood. For all the arguments I had to prove how right I was, all it did was contribute to those divides in the community.
Heck, I remember once in life folding towels, and my then best friend cut in to tell me how I was folding them wrong, then proceeded to push me out of the way and show me how they’re suppose to be folded. His brother scolded him for that. It was pointless and hurt our friendship.
We may not all be friends, but we are all still part of this community and we should strive to make it a friendly one. That’s why I say sometimes it’s better to just drop it, that’s why I say some arguments are pointless. The technicalities of the argument don’t matter because all we’re left with is bad blood.
And I’m very much aware that I have these issues too. I can be socially awkward and struggle with some of that. At least for me though, I realized I don’t want to be that way and want to try and foster the community I hope to see and be a part of.
I could certainly just dip out and let you guys have at it. It’s not my fight. Like I said though, I want to foster a better community. Denidil, we haven’t interacted as directly so much, but I have enough respect for both of you guys that I think it’d be a shame to see you guys end up down one of those paths.
I just don’t see it acceptable for people to make up stuff wholesale in the case of what he claimed. That should be the social faux pas, not calling someone on having made up nonsense

You joined the forum 25 days ago and every post you’ve made was just to argue with someone. StreetSports tried to back out of the conversation several times but you kept going. Everything you do is textbook trolling. How many accounts have you had here in the past?
