bambu AMS PRO for X1, it is at sale price, but not able to add to cart, “notify when available” - will they stil honor sale price, since it is out of stock?
Not like there are whole topics about it or anything
i did a search of “sale price”, nothing was found (at least in my search) that detailed how bambu handles a “sale price item” that is “currently unavailable”?? am i missing something?
The rumor is that the X1C has gone extinct. It’s mysteriously disappeared from all the store pages. Jon was showing that the whole X1 line is grayed out.

They don’t generally… If something’s on sale but out of stock until beyond the end of the sale period then you can’t get it at the price.
But there’s no harm in contacting support to ask.
On the other hand there’s nothing different about the AMS 2 pro for different models of printer.
It’s just that you also need either the AMS buffer Buffer (for only one AMS and never more) or the AMS hub Hub which lets you connect multiple AMS’s.
You can buy the AMS 2 pro on its own at the sale price and then separately buy the filament buffer or hub. The hub is a buffer plus 4 PTFE input ports.
What you do need is a 4-pin bus cable that goes from the printer to the buffer or hub.
I’m not sure if you get a 4 pin cable with the hub or the buffer because it doesn’t show that it does on the store pages for each.

As far as I know the only difference between the new hub they now sell for the A1 and the one for X1/P1 is that they changed the mounting and made it more compact… And less than half the price of the old X1/P1 hub.
It does the exactly same job and yet the A1 hub is much cheaper and comes with the 4 pin cable as well.
So personally I think you could buy the AMS 2 pro at the sale price with the A1 hub and just find a way to mount it.
Hopefully someone will confirm or refute the compatibility, but you could email support and ask specifically if the A1 AMS hub is compatible with the X1
Website just says 'sold out" on a lot of items, so that is that for getting those things at the sale prices. You snooze you lose I suppose. At least they protected me from myself.
seems like a reasonable assumption. I think they have the P2S positioned to more or less replace it. Given the H2D and new all-in-ones they have in their lineup, it stands to reason they are just eliminating redundant options.
