Since updating to the latest software 2.0.0.59 and the new firmware for printer, i have a problem where the purge is missing the shoot all together, it either spills out the outside of the shoot or makes a huge blob its almost like the flow is to much and it doesnt know when to stop.
I have retentioned the timing belts applied grease and oil where is needed clean the extruder i have done all sorts of calibrations using the software i cannot get the thing to print nice at all.
Printing in pteg for months without issues, since updates no stop issues.
Well i never thought it was possible but the nozzle was bent so badly out of shape ooooops!!! Got a new one luckly how did i miss that so yeah if nozzle is missing shoot future reference check the nozzle

do you know what bends the nozzle so i can make sure i dont do it again or is it just general wear and tear had it for atleast 3 months
Normally it only occurs by impacting something already on the print bed.
This can be due to a GCODE sequence sending the head into the printed model.
More common, it is after trying to print something when the build plate already had a previous model which wasn’t cleared off.
thats something i can say has never been done i am methodical with my setups, this you know the metal tube that connects to the nozzle that bent out of shape at a 10 degree atleast.
Share a photo if you can.
You are better than me, I do it too often, thankfully, no real damage caused.
I blame the fact that I have so many printers, plus, I am old, and the old brain doesn’t work as well as it used to.
hahah fairenough i think it might be because i was printing in petg at 265c might of been to much heat after prolonged use its the only thing i can think, youtube advice hahah
Very early in my P1S ownership days I got the dread Front toolhead cover has fallen off and got into swapping parts at BL’s direction. They had me do other control things I don’t remember.
Out of that, I wrecked both sides of a dual sided build plate when the toolhead ran to its home position at about -.5mm below Z 0. Both sides because I flipped plate over when it seemed fixed and it did the same thing.
