Banding / Ringing type artifacts?

I run Black gates belts on an old ender and also same thickness @ 1.4mm

Do you have a link to the toothed pulleys being used? This is a great task for us to work on while we have downtime.

Link as already been given in a previous post, but here it is :

All this work and not even using real gates brand toothed pulleys?

Where do you find them with the right dimensions and at a reasonable price ?

The one Iā€™ve used work perfectly fine.

For my Voron build I purchased them here

Shipping is insaneā€¦ how hard it is to replace the idlers? The entire gantry seems to be welded?

There must be a source on your side of the pond

If youā€™re in the UK then E3D do Gates stuff. I stripped my gantry again last week and replaced the belts with genuine Gates items from E3D. Figured I might as well. Should have done it when I did the pulleys TBH.

I have read the entire topic and I am not sure whether the final solution is to replace the rollers with geared ones?

Was any one able to verify how much cause can come from the XY motor itself?
Just found something that (if not just marketing) could help out with this ages old VFA challenge: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-et5eMyLlUs

or just magnetic XY gliding rails system could be the only real solution, where no belts, motors, pulleys would be standing in between?

Hi, do you remember what sizes and quantities of rollers and seals you need to buy? I am planning to make modifications and I wanted to have everything prepared

M-IDLER-T-GT2-P20-6-A-P5-H100 (M-IDLER-T-GT2-P20-6-A-P5-H100) for the rollers

M-BELT-LL-GT2-6 for the belt

Prorifi motors arenā€™t compatible with BL., and no idea if they will release higher amps models one day.

Just a quick question, but which dimension did you buy? 7, 11 or 13mm pulley?

Hello,

I received the replacement printer for my claim. It is noticeable that the construction is more rectangular than the previous one. Everything is lubricated, cleaned, and the belts are tensioned exactly according to the instructions. The printer exhibits almost identical waviness as the previous one. It depends on the material you are printing, but I donā€™t believe that any X1C is not affected by waviness.

Iā€™m afraid the problem is mainly in the motors and therefore can only be partially solved with further compromises. My only plan is to try smooth belts where the teeth are facing the wheels. Then I will see further based on the changes and results.

It is posted a bunch of times on this very thread. If you are lazy, the closest one is 7 messages on top of your msg, just scroll up. If you want to be sure, even the exact product numbers are posted of the required pulleys which is 2 posts above yours on this thread as well, coincidentally posted by me
