I am pretty new to this print world but not new to making. I have run in to this issue intermittently over the past week or so. thought it was a plate adhesion issue. so CLEANED like crazy! did nothing. oringally it was heavier texture on the right half of the plate so adjusted the level on the bed it helped but did not make it go away. tried a engineering plate with liquid glue and the first print was fine the bottom layer on the second print has the same issue of rough texture. As you can see in the images the center and the shell lines are smooth. the entire surface for this print is 125mm. the effect only gets more inconsistent if I move the scale of the print up to 200mm covering more of the print bead. or if I move down in nozzle size to .4mm. seems to me that I am getting some sort of build up of hot filament at the nozzle and it is dragging that around the print plate?? the subsequent layers are print fine it is only the first layer that does this.
what has been tried.
-clean the print plate
-move up in nozzle size
-lower bed temp 110 to 105 for the first layer
-manually level the print bed- seemed to helped at first.
-tried differant plate. from texture to engineering (first run was fine.)
-tried adjusting the z-offset for the fist layer.(increased the distance had no effect)
settings/filament in images.

fiament- polymer polylite clear PC (dried to 10%humidity)
bed temp- 105
extruder temp 275
speed 20mmps
all fans off

Can you share the slicer previews using the different views related to speeds?
sorry I can’t as I did not save it that time, just cancel the print, took the images and move on the next print.
I can’t go back to show the setting as I am already printing another part. The speed use was 20mm/s for all the first layers that were printed with clear PC that have had this issue. generally I use 20mm for the first layer on PC. the walls are general at 30-40 depending on the shape.
Do you think it should print slower than 20mms
I am more interested in seeing what the sliver shows to see if that provides more information.
Just so you know, the fact you are printing something now, doesn’t mean you can’t do as I requested. Make sure you have saved your current project and then load the original one up to slice again.
Your print will not stop, you can still monitor it in the device tab, you are just preparing a different job at the same time.
On the Mac. I can run multiple instances of Bambu Studio simultaneously and I often have 5 to 20 running at the same time. Done connected (for monitoring) my five printers, others preparing other projects.

Thanks for you help, I was able to repeat what I did in the slicer is this what you were asking for?
I have never thought to open more than one window in the slicer. seemed obvious once I did. I knew that I could work on slicing at the same time as printing, however did not know if I could fine the exact file from that failed print.
