I accompanied a project using BASF 316L, not in a BL printer.
It seems to work, but you can expect some intensive tweaking of the print settings, which, considering the filament cost, can substantially affect cost-effectiveness.
Sintering was done internally, and they opted for slightly over-extruding the part and mechanically removing the additional material afterwards. Note that the print was large and didn’t have complex internal details (otherwise, they would risk the need to make tools).
The result was 100% metal.
