Hi folks,
I am trying to print some pieces (White) with TPU strips (Black).
I have done this successfully before, but for some reason this time, the TPU strips are extending out into the infill after slicing, which I do not want.
I load the pieces as a single object with multiple parts, because if I load them as separate objects then I cant use beam interlocking.
How can I get rid of this default mesh so my beam interlocking will work as normal?

Ok, so after some more trial and error attempts, this seems to be due to a glitch with painting parts.
- If i paint the strips of TPU after adding the objects, it doesnt work.
- If I use the Process dialog to select TPU for the objects after adding them, it does work.
- If I paint AND use the process dialog, it doesnt work.
- If I paint, then try to change back to a different material by re-painting, then use the process dialog it still doesnt work.
So basically, painting screws up bambu studios understanding of object separation.
Is there actually a reason/logical explanation for this?
