Bearing found in X1C chamber

Today I found a bearing lying inside the chamber of my X1C, see pictures below.
It has a diameter of 8mm and a thickness of 4mm. The hole inside is about 2.8mm.
I’m sure that it is a part of the X1C, but I don’t know where to search.
Meanwhile the machine ran over 5000 hours so I think the bearing just fell off.

It still prints fine, but does anybody know where this bearing sits inside the X1C?

Check the Z-axis tops.

While I thought this initially, the bearing measurements are to small to be that.

Ups, yes indeed.

Sorry, no idea on the bearing but did you ever come up with a good April Fool’s joke for friends with 3d printers! Screws, nuts, bearings…

The only bearings I know that are similar size would be in the belt pulleys or the extruder. I do not know how any of those could come out and the machine still operate.

Is there any chance the bearing isn’t from this machine or perhaps it was stuck to the bottom of the bed (magnetic) during assembly and finally fell off?

I’d love to know where this is from, 2.77mm internal is tiny, very specific and HOW it came off if it’s from a pulley or something

As soon as I saw it I thought the top of the z axis but they’re a tiny …tiny bit too small

Thank you all for the hints.
I will search tomorrow.

not knowing you setup, but is your AMS on top of your printer? looks like there are a bunch of small bearings in the AMS

That seems to be the solution!
My AMS are mounted to the wall above the printer. I replaced a few shafts and perhaps I lost one bearing of the old. They have the same size!

probably the bearing holding the shaft inside your extruder GEARBOX.
