Hi fellow users of X2D.
I had my first bad experience with my brand new X2D, where the bed after finishing a tall print, tried to lower ever more, resulting in the bed to hit the bottom of the printer making a loud grinding noise for a sec or two.
I have printed the same model many times successfully in my P2S which I sold in order to get the X2D and I never had any such issue. P2S knew exactly where the bed position is and never tried to lower even more the bed.
In X2D seemed like the printer lost track of where the bed is and tried to perform the usual lowering of the bed after the print’s end, resulting in that issue.
I raised a ticket to the support team, but in my surprise they just advised me to reduce the height of my model in order to avoid this problem!!! But X2D is supposed to be able to print a few centimeters more in height than the P2S. I don’t understand why I was advised to reduce the height of my model!!!
Has anyone else experienced such a problem with their X2Ds?
Thanks in advance.
