Bed leveling routine question (normal or not)

So I have had three A1 printers. The first was returned due to a heatbed issue, the second was a replacement for the first, and the third is just another one I just received.

On the first and third one, when it does bed leveling either during a full calibration or before a print, the routine is very “rhythmic”, meaning it goes at the same speed through the whole process (move, taps, move, taps, etc).

On the second printer, when it does the bed leveling routine either during full calibration or before a print, every so often, it slows down a bit during the bed tap part. Enough to be noticeable. However, it prints fine and seems to move at the correct speeds the rest of the time. Note: It did this before and after a firmware update, so I don’t think that has anything do do with it.

Anyone else ever seen this, or know why it might be doing it?

Only reason is it is seeing a slightly different level at certain points. hard to say why or anything like that.

I’ve seen it on my own bed but no real reason why or any bad prints out of it.

That’s what I was thinking at first, but it seems to do it more in the middle then the edges so hard to believe the bed can be off like that.

That’s good to know, Just think it’s strange, especially when two other printers did not do it.

It doesn’t always do it either. May be related to a nozzle change.

The brand new one that never had a nozzle change does it. In any case, it does not seem to affect anything, so I guess I won;t worry about it.
