Bed temperatures way too high at the start of any print

Hi everybody,

I think this begun happening to me since the last firmware update but I noticed something weird happening: Whenever I start a new print with the textured PEI plate and I send a file from Bambu Studio to the printer and it starts heating up the bed, it goes way up over the desired temp and then it waits til it cools down before printing. Is it normal? Is it a new feature or a bug?

I have all the default settings and profiles in the Studio. The target temp for printing is 55C and it goes up to 65C or so, and then it doesn’t start until temperature goes down back to 55C. After that, everything goes fine and it prints without problem.

Have anyone noticed the same thing lately?

I haven’t had this problem so far.
Try the following: After sending the file, set the hotbed temperature to 45 degrees.
See if it heats up to 55 and then waits until it reaches 45. If that’s the case, just set it to 55.
Maybe it’s a bug.
Or there could be more than one thermostat, and one of them is faulty?
