Hi - Just received and set up my H2S (Arrived 6:00 pm yesterday afternoon) After calibration and updating the software I ran a print and noted that the notched belt which runs around the stepper motor (rear right) seems to be off centre and it looks as if the belt is starting to fray.
Is this normal?
Nope this is not normal, I would recommend opening a ticket with Bambu.
And you will, of course, be told that this part is considered a consumable and therefore not covered by warranty – exactly the same response I received when I tried to get two Eddy sensors replaced, since they were glued to the TH board and impossible to remove without damaging them. In the end they sent me a new TH board under warranty, but I still had to pay for the Eddy sensors themselves, even after providing photos of every single step of the process.
In my experience with Bambu they have been very helpful, I had this issue on my H2D submitted a ticket received a response within a day and as usual they asked for video and log files sent them the requested information and next day received the option to receive repair parts or printer replacement. I opted for replacement. Had new printer in a week and has been working perfectly since.
