Within the span of time where the first 1-3 layers have only been layed down, it would be especially helpful to be able to make additional copies of an object and have it just auto place itself adjacent to existing ones. This would be particularly useful after having skipped an object because of a poor first layer and settings needing to be tweaked. Then you can add it to remaining bed space if available before the first few layers have been finished.
Good idea, but in real hard to realize.
If you have already printed at least 1 layer, you can’t go back to the bed level again. So no additions of other objects are possible.
If you are thinking about printing per object, than this is often also not possible due to the object height. In reality, if the objects are not extremly flat, you can’t have more than let’s say three objects on your print plate. And even if it would be possible theoretically, you would have to re-slice the complete print job.
My tip: If you have only printed the first up to 3 layers, just cancel the print and start a new one.

And also the printer just doesn’t know how to copy an object.
It only executes commands that have been pre-calculated by the slicer. So it has no idea about objects. Even the skipping has to be prepared for by the slicer.
