What brand and size SD replacement card would you recommend for a P1S?
The most important thing is where you buy them. There are lots of fake ones out there. So avoid AliExpress and similar sites. If the price seems too good to be true, it probably a fake, even if it has a brand name on it or the description repeatedly states that it is genuine.
AliExpress is pretty good at bringing bad traders into line or refunding. If it’s a long time trader with a good rep, it’ll be fine.
Temu and Amazon are the bad ones. Ebay is better than Amazon as you can check the trader’s rep. Avoid Temu and Amazon, though Amazon is getting better these days.

Get one rated for high read/write cycles such as for a camera.
Get a brand name high-endurance one. The high-endurance versions are almost all bigger than 16gb, so you’ll need to format it also.

Is there a size limit? I mean is something like 256, which is what I use on my camera, too large?
256 is fine, just format it fat32. A camera SD is not normally high endurance, unless you mean a dashcam or security video camera.
