Best most sturdy standalone H2D stand?

I built a table out of Oak from Home Depot. Glued it together and it is sturdy enough that I can jump up and down on it with confidence and I am 245 pounds. All you need is a saw and wood clamps.

Most workbenches, including the Gladiator, are only at most 24 inches wide.

I’m also thinking ahead to when i receive my sovol sv08 max. 750mm outside dimension, so most store bought workbenches are too narrow. 32 inches wide would be sufficient. 32 also divides evenly into 96 :slightly_smiling_face: so i could bang out three at the same time from one sheet of plywood/OSB/MDF/ whatever.

I used two sheets of 3/4" plywood for the desktop, but made sure to glue the two sheets together with wood glue. That greatly reduced any flexing over the span. I just made the legs out of glued-together boards. This was my first time building any type of furniture. I just got tired of everything you look at online being made of particleboard and still costing as much as real wood.

I have had issues with my X1C printers as they are both on a 36" deep workbench attached the the wall. The issues were having to turned them around to do the connections or maintenance of the machines. So, when I purchased the H2D (haven’t received it yet, I went ahead and got a Harbor Freight tool box:
72xauto YUKON 46 in., 9-Drawer Mobile Storage Cabinet with Solid Wood Top, Blue

This should allow me to get behind the printer and do whatever I need to, AND the drawers should be enough for the tools we need and storage of additional accessories and/or filaments…

@Michael. Not wood but seems as though it would maybe work

Looks solid to me…

@Keith2 nice. Looks even simpler than the one i was contemplating.

@Keith2 from what I’m reading, it looks like it is even be reversible if you used Hide glue. Nice to have that option in case you later wanted to re-use the wood for something else. :slightly_smiling_face:
