Best place to sell laser kit

I have an H2S and I’ve been pretty happy with it overall. In fact, I’ve decided I’d really like to buy an H2C so that I can do multicolor prints as well as prints with special support material, but retain my H2S for larger single color prints.

When I bought my H2S, I went ahead and bought the 10W Laser Upgrade and when the new firmware came out, I grabbed the rotary thing to allow for engraving on round objects like glasses and tumblers. I finally got around to installing the kit and trying it out and it works well, but I don’t like having my printer out of action while I’m playing with the laser. I feel like I’d use the laser enough that it would be better for me to buy a fulltime laser device, and not tie up my printer.

To that end, I have a barely used laser kit that I can put back in the original box, along with the rotary adapter that I’d like to sell. I’m wondering if this group could tell me the best place to sell something like this? Is there a place where H2 series owners go to buy and sell used parts from each other, or is the “wild west” of eBay and their horrible fees really the best?

eBay works because buyers are heavily protected, and sellers are the ones who carry most of that risk. As a buyer, you can generally purchase with confidence. As a seller, you just hope you do not get a return where your actual item was swapped out for a box of rocks, because the buyer is probably going to walk away with the refund.

Shipping carriers in the U.S. are also a risk, especially with high-value electronics. GPUs and similar items can disappear in transit, and there is not always much the seller can realistically do about it.

Some things are just not worth listing on eBay. That said, a laser module seems like a pretty reasonable fit: easy to ship, decent value but not extremely high value, and less likely to attract return scams.
