It seems every time I update software and/or firmware I have major issues. Last time this happened, I went back to software version 2.2.1.58 and firmware version 01.11.00.00. Everything seems to be working fine except when I do multicolor prints, it takes way longer than it used to. That being said, with all of the problems I’ve had in the past, I’d like to update it, but I’m afraid it might give me issues again. Is there a known good version anyone could suggest?
If I still had my x1c i would be running Orca Slicer and the latest firmware for the x1c that worked with orca. I think it was 01.08.02.
There was nothing the newer firmware’s gave the x1c besides breaking Orcaslicer connection.
Ok. Thanks! I may give that a try. How about the firmware? Is the latest version ok with orca slicer?
X1C firmware versions 1.08.03 and higher work with OrcaSlicer only with Bambu Connect, or with LAN-only & Developer mode set on the printer. Or you can transfer sliced files via SDcard (sneaker-net).
You may want more recent firmware versions (with authorization controls) to support some newer hardware, filaments, and build plates. Check out the firmware release notes to see if you really need any of the changes.
Thank you so much!I will try this very soon!
