Has anyone else experienced better quality prints with Bambu PETG HF from their A1 machines vs the P1 and X1C? I’ve been noticing that the overall quality from the A1 and A1 minis seems to be a step above the CoreXY printers when it comes to PETG HF. The X1C doesn’t print poorly, but if you set two models side by side when printed with the same spool and same settings, the one from the A1 is just a bit nicer. I haven’t really noticed any real differences when printing in PLA though, the models are virtually identical. So it’s not like anything is worn out on the other printers, they print other filament great.
Just wondering if there is any science behind that, or if anybody has also noticed that with their printers too.
I only have an A1, and for the fist time after The Filament, Sunlu and eSun I tried the black PETG HF from Bambu. I mean it is amazing, it is like printing with the best PLA. Layer lines barely noticeable, there are no errors in the print. I printed desiccant cylinders for the Bamboo and Sunly spools. These are riddled with 1mm rectangular and triangular holes
all all around. There is no misprint anywhere. I am thoroughly impressed. I know it is not answering your question, but just wanted to add that no other PETG/PETG HF compares so far. Oh yes and the speed is like printing PLA 300mm/sec.
That looks really clean! Did you have to tinker with the settings at all? I’ve found that slowing the print speed down a bit, increasing the flow and upping the nozzle temps from the stock Bambu profile works great for me.
