Bambu hasn’t been a market leader for nearly a year now! They have been too busy building a walled garden system to notice others has nipped past them and are now selling better items at lower prices.

Oh yes I have, I was only to give a comparison to Bambu’s other enclosed printers, my A1 mini is just as bad and the light just blurs everthing!! lol

the dumb hybrid laser is not appealing to me the toolhead takes up about 30mm of build area and i dont want anything but a 3d printer not a microwave/ps5/vcr attached to it and at $1400-1900 est pricing its even less appealing unless i use makerworld points to get it practically free lol
Assuming the H2S is the same printer as the H2D without the only partly useful part, a second nozzle, it might end up having a technically larger print volume.
As the H2D has a compromised width reduction of 25mm depending on the nozzle which can’t be used by the other nozzle and can only really be utilised if each nozzle has identical materials negating the benefits of two nozzles, the H2S presumably wouldn’t be restricted in the same way.
This means the H2S would have an 25mm width size advantage over the H2D.

hmm well per that AI summary something is knocking one dimension down to 320mm another to 340… i mean its not life changing but weird dimensions

Because i can almost guarantee that the majority of bambu owners aren’t interested in the likes of a tool changer, gotta remember that most people buying a bambu are normies, they are the same as apple in that regard, so sure, there are devices that are better at x specific task but aren’t actually better for everyone

Normal people just want a printer that works. Tool changers are complicated and would cut down on reliability a lot.
Plus, Bambu is the market leader of multicolor printing. I feel that they would not do a true tool changer printer because of all the marketing and effort they have put into their AMS systems.

We are all special in our own ways.
But given most people are more casual and own the a1 series. I dont think it will happen any time soon.
