I have a drastic error of a few mm in the alignment of the laser with the Birds eye camera.In the pictures below you can see the positioning of my pattern and the result in the background.
The deviation is approx. 3-4mm
Unfortunately, the image is not sharper, so the lack of focus could also be the cause.
But I can’t find anything to adjust the focus.
horror story time. My first x1c came with lens detached from sensor. And it takes too long to get a replacement from bambu. So I took it apart and reglued it onto the sensor.
I have now recalibrated the camera according to the instructions.
The result has improved but the camera still shows very blurred images. Can you please describe in more detail what was wrong with your camera and how you fixed it
not much you can do, it’s the flaw of the lens, including focusing and to alignment from it to sensor.
I was able to solve part of the problem by carrying out the manual height measurement.
This significantly improved the positioning of the camera.
BUT
with 5 repetitions I have 5 different results with a tolerance > 0.6mm. Unfortunately, this has a considerable effect on the result.
Unlike 3D printing, the print bed is NOT measured automatically but only manually at a single point.
So it is hardly possible to process uneven surfaces exactly
There is still a lot of potential for improvement here.
