Will we be able to eventually calibrate the Birdseye camera for the non-laser H2D printer? My cutter and pen tool would love this update!

Just wait for the next flagship to drop, and they’ll suddenly develop selective amnesia about ever having a cutter upgrade that needed a bit of firmware love. At that point the old cutter will be treated like an embarrassing ex they all swear they never dated.

But do you actually believe them? They are almost certainly focused 200% on their next flagship product – the one that will replace the H2C.
That is the fundamental problem with Bambu Lab: they have excellent hardware and very capable engineers, but they undermine that strength by constantly chasing new releases instead of properly maintaining and improving what they already have. The H2D has not come close to delivering on all the promises that were made for it yet.
A company that operates like this can continue for quite some time, but, like Icarus, it will eventually fall – and from that height, the impact will be severe.

It should be available in the next major firmware update, which is expected to come early next year.

Question…
what are you referring to when you say calibration? Is this to auto calibrate flow ratios?
This is for calibrating the birdseye camera to accurately view the build plate for cutting and pen plotting. This is only an issue for printers that do not have the laser attachment, since right now it requires having it to start the calibration.
