I have a long print using all Creality Hyper PLA on my H2C.
I sliced a model with all colrs using Generic PLA profile.
The resulting Total Time estimate is 1D16H31M
I changed the profiles for all used colors to BL PLA Basic
The resulting Total Time estimate is 1D16H13M
The difference is less than a 1% speeed increase???
Max Volumetric spped difference is 12mm/s to 25mm/s.
Shouldn’t the print speed difference be much better using the BL profile?
For comparison print estimate I just changed the profile from Generic PLA to BL Basic PLA. Just trying to understand if using a higher max volumetric flow profile just works or if I have to learn what to do to take advantage of it.
Did the same model using .16 Standard Quality and although there is a significant difference between High and Standard print profiles. The filament profile difference is still very marginal:

With a larger layer height and the same speed settings, your volumetric flow will increase, but if the highest feedrate (usually spare infill) is not running against the maximum volumetric flow, you won’t see any difference in time.
Try the 0.8 nozzle with 0.4 layer height and switch between the two filaments (make sure VF is still correct in those profiles). I suspect that you will see a bigger difference in printing time.

If most of my prints are going to use smaller layer lines for more detail than it would not make sense for me to spend the extra money to get HF nozzles for my H2C then. I was debating…
