When my printer prints the first layer at the start of the first line, it might be a little uneven. But when another line joins this one, some filament will stick on. Imagine using a hot glue gun. Run the nozzle over a hot glue line, and some molten filament decides to hitch a ride. What happens is that the nozzle might rip a portion of the line off because of the sticking, and the butterfly effect until the whole print is ruined and I have to stop the printer.
This problem has been getting worse once I started using PLA matte and Timmorry TPU.
Also the purge strip kinda works. Blobs will deposit. But when the nozzle comes back the blob gets on again. So I have to poke around during the print to remove stuff that might ruin the print. And I don’t want to accidentally crush my finger.
If you need to do something with the nozzle, don’t try while it’s running, pause it, do your thing, then unpause it. In addition to crushing your finger, there are other things you could screw up by messing around with a moving nozzle.
Um… It adheres properly. It’s just that the nozzle rips it or sometimes at the very very start there is uneven extrusion and everything else that causes an end of the line to detach.
I’ve found a solution. A skirt is a sacrificial object, and then I can move on to the real print. But another thing is that it troubles me that I’m the only one having the problem.
