There’s a few makers I know that deserved them.
I don’t print much but have 4 boosts to use… any ideas for what to boost?

Check your downloads list and see if there are any users deserving of your precious boosts

I’m just a designer so my download list is all my models. I don’t really print that much stuff for myself except for what I design!
Surely you have printed something that you used to assist your printing process?
Filament silica holders, spool adapters, PTFE tube removers, holders, and more.
They gave value or fixed a design flaw.

Pick some random people from the forum, and boost the first model on each you see.
I also find it annoying.
I find it hard to gift the boosts, but, I do not want them to go to waste or the man (BL) wins.

So let’s make a pact - you waste all your existing and future boosts on my models and I waste all mine on yours! That was a joke - but I bet exactly such arrangements are happening and I wonder if/how Bambu Lab try to detect and rectify it. Is it even against some rules? I never bothered to read any rules.
Another trick would be to have two different accounts (without Bambu knowing they’re the same person), and post half of your models on each. Then the two accounts can boost each other.
I guess all that has been discussed somewhere around here already.
They have a limit of boosts you can give each designer, sadly. Ended up giving one to @MalcTheOracle since he’s always helpful in the forum and then boosted the above models in advance

There is a limit you can boost per designer as there is a limit you can per model.
- Model 2 boosts
- Designer 6 boosts ‡
‡ I haven’t seen that written though.

I can tell you one thing, if a user boosts your models more than the predetermined, hidden, maximum allotted times, it will flag the system and your account may be temporarily banned from using points along with models being removed. Oh, and whatever you do, don’t boost someone who has boosted you!

I needed the points to get another Gift Card and was struggling to think who to give it to.
The 2 points from that and the 6 from the other 3 I had to get rid of put me over the top.
I also looked at your least popular (based on downloads) and found a cute-looking dinosaur. Who wouldn’t want to give that fella a boost?

Of course you can boost someone else who boosted you. What you can’t do is what that one redditor did recently is have your 3 buddies boost and rate your model then turn around and boost/rate all of them back and just keep doing that back and forth.

I’m not really sure what prompted the week long ban on my account, I could only assume it was from boosting a user that had previously boosted me. I have used 17 boosts and those went to 14 different users. 4 of the boosts went a user that had quite a few models i enjoyed. So maybe I’m wrong about this, I just wish there was some sort of clarification from MW when this happens.
