I notice that no boost token have been sent to my account for several months ,I got only 5 since I bought my Printer last yeart till now. I still printing and rating model on Maker World regularly, do anyone know why?
You’re not alone.
My printing habits stay consistent, most of the time I do not get boosts, but every now and then I will get a few.
My speculation is that they moved the threshold to like 20 hours per week to get boosts.
Just take a moment to read through this. It could also be due to your workflow.
I can summarize it briefly: If you save the 3D models to your computer first and print them later, they often aren’t counted. Also, you have to reach a certain number of print hours per month.
Because of this, I haven’t received any Boosts since April 2025. I meet the hour requirement, but don’t print directly from the website or app. I download the 3D models from MakerWorld and print them later.
Thank you for the infos but I’m sure that I always print directly from app. I and my print time is more 20h last week (for the MW models). Must be sonething I’m missing
Did you often print long time stuff, my print time this week definitely more than 20h but I the print time per session usually small (20m to 3h). Does it required to have some print takes really long time like 4 5h to count?
Usually around 6 to 20 hours per. But there are a good amount of 30 minute prints.
Mw is reducing boost tokens. They wont say it, but thats what they are doing.

It’s what companies do - eat their seed corn.
Some bean counter focuses on how much money goes out the door building relations with customers who make all the cool models that sell their products. They decrease the perks, dissatisfaction sets in, and quality and number of models falls. At some point some other company fills the gap and people move to the new platform.
It’s repeated in various flavors in all sorts of companies and industries. People see a way to take profits to another level and compromise something that was foundational to the business. Bean counter gets a bonus while the company puts itself on a dissatisfaction course.

Of course, my bigger issue is with transparency.
At the same time, it does not seem like they are reducing, they are just removing.
I’m with you. I have only been part of this ecosystem for less than 6 months. I print a ton of stuff. My printer is running daily. Much of my own design, but I do print some directly and some downloads. I’ve been boosted a couple of times but never got anything since the initial 2 tokens which expired because I knew nothing about the system. I keep waiting to share the love but nope. No tokens to give. It is a shame that a talented designer does not have the same voice that people who strictly download and print have. At least that is how I’m understanding it.
never got one after the two i got setting up my first printer. I print hundreds of hours and rating the models i print. All trough cloud. Asked support got the generic bot answer with the steps i have all done already.
