Brand new AMS lite malfunctioning

Just got my new A2L and I am definitely enjoying it. but the AMS lite that came as part of the combo doesn’t work right and I can’t figure out how to deal with it. I can do some minimal repairing on the printer itself but know nothing about the AMS.

Basically, slots 2 and three are not recognizing the Bambu lab filament ID. luckily I had another to ‘borrow’ to do my work, but I really would like to make it work.

If there is any fairly noob procedure someone can give, me, I would appreciate it.

I tried getting into the BL support system but it seems to be totally oriented toward the printers themselves.

Did you open a ticket? If so, please send me a private message with the Ticket ID. Otherwise, we recommend opening a ticket with our team by following this link.

It is recommended to include as much info as possible (a video of the problem and printer log will help)
