So I received my new H2D about a week ago but didn’t have time to even unbox it and power it up until now. I got 2 errors right away. “Airflow System failed to activate cooling mode; please check the air door status. [0300-c100-0001-001 080428]”. Then below that it says "Filter Switch Flap air door malfunction; it may be stuck [0300-c000-0001-0002 080428].
I was actually able to get the air door and flaps to move with going into menus and clicking cooling which opened the doors and flaps. So they do not seem to be stuck. But for some reason the system isn’t happy with them when initially booting it up. So I am a little bit at a loss.
Bummer since this happened right away before I was even able to do a test print.

Actually it seemed to sort itself out. I should have came back with an update before now. I am still not 100% sure exactly why it was giving me the issues. The next day I was mentioning the problem to my friend and showing him that I could open and close the vents through the cooling menu. So I cycled it there a couple of times like I did while originally trying to figure it out. And after that the error went away.
I have since built just a handful of things with the only issue that it sometimes doesn’t want to load the filament off the single spool on the side. It also sometimes has a loading issue from the AMS. Hopefully it won’t be an on going issue.
I’ve had it happen on the S. Just toggle the flaps on and it should go away. Haven’t seen it since.
It’s happened to me also. on a brand new H2D.
Remove the filter and look at the curtain behind.
Mine was a little misaligned . Slide it in the right position .
I’ve never heard of it since that! ( 2 months ) .
