Hello why the speed of bridge printing is low ( 50 MMS) . If use a 50% infill can I increase the bridge speed ? The layer just after a infill layer ?
This is so that the molten filament has time to cool down and solidify to form the bridge.
Yes I understand with a filling of 50% for example the bridges are almost non-existent. so i can increase the layer speed of the bridge?
How would an infill of 50% make a bridge go away?
The space between infill line is very short( .minus 2/3 mm )So the bridge don t need to be printed with slow speed ? In fact I don’t understand why very little bridges must be printed whit slow speed . Why is it important. Sorry I m French and don’t speak very well English .
There must be misunderstanding about what a bridge is. But don’t worry, you will gain more and more knowledge on 3D printing as you go.
For now, I would say don’t change the printing speed on bridge. Leave it as default.
maybe I have the wrong setting, I’m talking about the layer that comes after filling. usually it is printed at low speed. I don’t understand why. I think so, I don’t explain it well.
This is the layer that I don’t know if it s important to print so slowly
On the picture I have changed the speed printing . From standard to ludicrous and there is absolutely no quality difference.
These are infills, They are controlled by infill speed (there are several settings for infill speeds). BTW, I don’t think the speed mode (sport, ludicrous) should be used. Bambu Lab probably should get rid of that feature
The bridge speed is for bridge like this. You will gain more knowledge before long.
You are actually not right. Adrien is right, what is shown on his picture is actually defined as bridge line (light blue in slicer) and controlled by the Bridge speed parameter.
I guess when you have smaller bridges (with higher density infill) you could try speeding up the Bridge Speed just a little. But this will work only for this type of model, don’t use this setting as default everywhere.
Hello
Yes small infill . I tried to speed the speed under it and it works Well
Thanks for your answers.
@adriennathanrichard I am looking for a similar setting, that would differentiate between short and long bridges. I would appreciate if you had any insights.
