What would cause my new P2S nozzle colliding into the build plate in the center to front left side. If I print something in the back it’s fine but if I try and print over certain area the nozzle collids in to the print bed and jams the extruder. It’s already ruined the build plate by embedding the PETG in it. I just factory reset it and rerunning the whole set up calibration again. Thoughts? Here’s a picture you can see where it was colliding
I would say your bed level is way off, probably due to shipping / handling. Try the bed calibration and see if this happens again.
It was printing fine for a bit until I updated it, then did this even when I leveled it. I did a whole factory reset and that seems to have improved it but I’m gonna keep monitoring it. Very weird
Make sure to do the full (30+ minutes) calibration routine after each firmware update!
Yeah, I did the noise calibration on the update as it was requiring it but not the others so I just reset the machine and went through it all again. I think its ok now, minus the damage the plate but I suppose I still got a clean side lol

Yes, it still is strange, when it was working well before. I think you should still open a ticket with Bambu Lab service to get a new build plate, as this wasn’t user error IMHO

I supposed its worth a shot, im not sure how i prove it wasnt my error though after factory setting as i’m sure they will ask…thing is I have my printer log files id assume since i reformatted the printer and arent those required now to submit a ticket…
Nvm i just sent it as “Other” so i didnt need to. Just bringing it to their attention and hoping to have the build plate replaced. We’ll see
Update, the responded that normally they dont replace consumables, but make an exception and are going to send out a new plate to me.
