New to the Bambu printers. For the PS2, do you go to 3rd party or Bambu for build plates?

If you like the texture that the standard Bambu textured PEI build plate gives your prints, there is no reason to use anything different. If you want a super smooth texture, I prefer the Darkmoon G10 plate. If you want something in between, my favorite is the BIQU Glacier plate. It is particularly great for PETG. I use it with the standard textured PEI build plate profile. But I set my filament settings to print 5 degrees hotter than standard.
You can use a good bit less energy by using a cold plate for PLA (like literally heated bed off), so I would say that is a good reason to use a supertack plate.
The finish is also closer to normal walls; where the standard PEI looks like fuzzy skin in order to grip better..
I think the bambu textured and smooth plates are must haves, cheap and good. For ABS you can try the engineering plate.
You also got the benefit of a warning if a wrong plate is placed inside the printer when using the original plates.
I recently got a £8.50 smooth PEI plate from Aliexpress, though it worth the risk at that money! I printed a code plate from Maker World and stuck it on with HT adhesive. Thickness is a few thousands of an inch less than the standard BL textured plate.
Only used it once so far, for PETG, it worked fine and the code was recognised by my P2S straight away. How durable it will be remains to be seen but it looks and feels ok.
The biqu glacier is good for lots of reasons, and one of them is that it is a very pleasing blue.

I do a bit of every filament type, and my three go-to plates are the standard Bambu textured PEI, their coolplate supertack, and the Darkmoon Satin. I have others that I’ll use for very specific projects, but those cover 90% of my usage.
