Build Plates?

Hi there,
Actually i am a bit confused about the Build Plates.

I mean Theres Structured PEI, smooth PEI, that engineering Plate everybody Talks about, the cool plate and now the super tack…

Why i can never find this “engineering Plate”??
And whats for what?

I mean iam totaly Happy with PEI bur for PA i would Buy the Engineering Plate. But i cabt find??

Maybe some one can Made clearness what is what what is good for what anf what surface the Plates have? Pei f.e.

The Cool Plate and the Engineering plate have both been discontinued. The Engineering plate had slightly more texture than the matte finish of the Smooth PEI plate, and a good deal less then the Textured PEI plate. It provided no advantages over the current PEI options. Either PEI plate is a good choice for use with any filament and they do not require glue for PLA.

Hey Ikarus, thank you. So what Plate for technical part in PA, ASA or PETG?

Allways PEI Smooth? Will it Stick?

I use PEI, smooth or textured, with a thin coat of glue for all but PLA. No problems adhering, though a couple large ASA prints needed brims and some temperature experimentation to deal with warping.
