Some Bambu Lab X1 users might encounter a bug in which the built-in webcam fails to load when trying to access it from the OctoEverywhere dashboard, Quick View, or Live Links.
Unfortunately, this is a bug with the Bambu Lab X1 printer itself, and OctoEverywhere can’t do anything to work around it. (we have tried). We are attempting to contact Bambu Labs to report and help them fix the bug, but we haven’t gotten a contact yet. Other communities that access the webcam via the local network, like Home Assistant, are also hitting this bug.
The software and plugin’s have quite a bit of bugs still… Octoeverywhere is nice and all but they’ve been advertising saying it’ll work with anything running debian os meanwhile I can’t get a rbpi zero 2 w to connect [2] printers… not even X1C’s
The support from the dev has been “eh” as well. I mean i understand he has a life and it’s just him or whatever but I’m going on 48hrs now since he gave me “solution” to try which didn’t work.
It works great for me with 12 printers on it all except the bambu x1 carbon work. 3 p1ps, sovols and an infimech tx and a few vorons.
With a pi zero 2 w?? I have a 64gb sd (everything required) and loaded Rb pi OS x64…
Only thing is I am using xMoba? Haven’t been successful with puTTY
