Calibrating .2 nozzle

Basically all the calibration tools for Pressure Advance and Flow ratio don’t work correctly for a .2 nozzle, so how are you guys calibrating yours?

For PA, the only one I found works at all is the PA Line test…. But I generally get numbers that don’t seem right at first glance (.3-.5 PA, which is like 10x the expected), and the line test just doesn’t usually seem as reliable as something like the pattern test (which doesn’t work for .2).

I tried all the flow options (regular flow test and the orca slicer YOLO test) and neither work. They all end up tiny and all smooth.

Advice?

Do you happen to have “Small flow compensation” enabled? I find that setting [or at least its default value map] to really interfere with 0.2 everything since its already at such low absolute flow.

Where is this setting in bambu studio, I can’t find it

Unless Studio uses a different term, I’m pretty sure Small area flow compensation is only available in OrcaSlicer.

Not sure if orca exclusive, but its under quality→walls/surfaces

OKI do see option on Orca… But I’m not really sure how it’s addressing my question. My question is what are you guys using to actually ascertain what the correct flow and PA numbers are with the .2 nozzle, since the built in tests are designed for .4 nozzles.

I mentioned it because if you have it enabled, all your 0.2 calibrations will print looking the same, since that setting makes large changes at low flows. Feel free to share more/pics about the issue

I’m looking for a way to tune my .2 nozzle profiles though!
