I was watching a video showing how to install a panda touch and it shows a usb connector behind the front panel over the door. The Question is can I use a raspberry pi zero w configured as a WIFI usb stick to print files from or do i need the panda touch to communicate to the printer for this.
I use a rpi setup like this for my resin printers and wondered if it was the same for these printers. I set it up as a WIFI usb drive and then map it in windows and ubuntu as a network drive. i save the sliced files to the network drive then I can print directly off the control panel of the printer. like the SD card except its way faster and I’m not continually swapping the SD card in and out of the printer.
The USB connector on the P1S is only for power. I would also warn you that powering devices with it has mixed results.
You shouldn’t have to do this as you can transfer files via lan mode or FTP.

I would like to map the printer as a network drive and place the exported files on it so i can manage it from my pc but print directly from the printer if I want.
