Can I hide the "ghost items" (opaque images) after slicing?

After slicing, when I want to check the results and use the sliders to check the results it will always display the items in full size as slightly opaque ghost items.

Sometimes it doesn’t bother me like in the screenshot below (still don’t want to see it since my old brain is still capable to remember what I sliced two seconds ago) sometimes this is really annoying especially when you have, for example, black and gray filaments and complex structures where it is getting hard to differentiate what is the ghost item and what is the current layer.

Can I turn these ghost items off somehow?

You sure can.

In Preferences (Ctrl-P) uncheck “Always show shells in preview”. You will need to close all instances of Bambu Studio and reopen it for it to take effects.
