I did a google search about how to re-use a text_shape in other projects and the option I liked most was “Export: Right-click the text_shape in the objects list (on the left panel) and select Export as STL or Export as OBJ.”
However no export option exists…maybe it used to?

If the text_shape object is merged with another part it won’t allow you to export it. (See the little green + shape) This happens by default when you add text to an object.
The text_shape object needs to be its own object,
Right click on the top object and “Split” it “To objects”.
Then you can export the text
