I received my p2s last week and decided it was time to try some tpu printing. When i hit the “edit” button on the filament area, there is no TPU option. Not in “Bambulab”, and not in “Generic”
Am i the only one that has this issue and how can i solve it?

You cannot really print TPU in the AMS. You have to print on the external spool but you have to remove the tube at the back; you can look at a youtube tutorial or something.
I have tried printing with TPU before but it got clogged in the toolhead and I had to take apart parts of the tool head to reach the clog so I do not recommend printing with TPU on the p2s (my opinion).

Yes, but when you hit edit in the printer settings, there is no tpu option. I am using the external spool

Did you try first setting it as PLA loading it, then changing it to TPU?
I don’t have any tpu option
idk what is is then can you try asking bambulab for help? I am not an expert at bambulab stuff, I got mine a few weeks ago and I only know some stuff.

It sounds like Bambu Studio doesn’t have the TPU filament type enabled. If so, you can enable this filament type in Bambu Studio so that it will appear in the list.
Start here:
Then find TPU in the list and enable it. The interface has changed somewhat since this screenshot was made but it will be similar to this (ignore the ABS highlight in the image, it’s not relevant to you):

There is TPU for the AMS - I use it regularly in my original AMS with no issues.
That said, I do not know how it compares to a regular TPU but suspect AMS TPU is more firm that regular TPU.
You are correct, it is. It is rated at 68D Shore hardness, similar to that of a common softwood. That’s somewhere between a shopping cart wheel (which is softer) and a construction hard hat (harder). Its main advantage is that it won’t break easily; it is more of a “flexible” or “tough” material than a “soft” one. Use it for impact resistance, not softness.

Finding where to enable filaments might not be intuitive so here’s where to do it.
Open Bambu Studio ( you can do this from any model), Click “Prepare”, then go down to project filaments and click the gear.
That will open a window so go up and down the list clicking ALL of the filament options / types you want Rito use … including “Generic” versions if desired.
It’s tempting but Resist clicking types until you really need them because the list will become overwhelming when you try to add a filament in the AMS from the printer’s display.
First of all, you have to do exactly what is describd in the documentation : TPU printing guide | Bambu Lab Wiki
On my side, I tried with a TPU from Creality and it is working correctly after drying during 12h and printing directly from the filament to the extruder ! Impossible to do it with AMS, except if you use a special TPU from Bambu. Finding the correct settings can take a lot of time too. I recommand to print a test model for TPU and using a tower temperature to check which one is the best.

i print tpu 95 daily on P1Ss and X1s. couple differnt brands. must dry 12 to 24 hours and let is cool off too. if you warm going in can jam up. run the calibration on the tpu you use and save it as a setting for reusing. may want to make one per brand. clear colors all need drying and talk even more dry time than solid colors. from the start some just dont work. solid colors work a little better, some work out of the box. but brands need dryin before using. i use a couple sunlu dryers set to 50c for 12 min and i might rerun it for a couple days and let them cool off and than run them. if you want to talk brands? i get good results from Ziro, Gaintarm, sunlu, III3d. used other too but couple brands i have used and do not like.

ask bambu customer support. i had a problem with tpu in my h2d. they said it
