Cand anyone help me with this?

Every time I go to print after selecting the color of filament I want to use the slicer selects a different filament? this started after the last update. If you look in picture to the left I have the white filament selected, however the white is in the right AMS not the left as seen in the right window and it is selecting the brown in the Left AMS. I am very confused.

Just click on the filament in the left hand window and drag it to the right hand window.

I do that now, however before the update it did not do this. When I selected a color it changed the color of the object and selected the proper AMS with that color automatically. I was just wondering if there was a setting I am missing

My H2C seems to get it wrong randomly, and I have not updated anything in the last two months or so. I expect I could figure out what rules it’s using if I took the time to think about it. But it’s going to pop that dialog up for every print, even if it guesses right, so it’s no big deal to drag the filaments over if it guesses wrong. Adds 5 seconds to the print time. I’m too lazy to bother with more.

I agree about the lazy part. Cant wait for the new filament swapper thing so I dont even have to swap filament between AMSs LOL

Are you slicing the file in ā€œsavingsā€ mode, vs ā€œconvenienceā€ mode?

Just because you have the filaments loaded a certain way, it doesn’t automatically use the configuration. It will make suggestions to save on filament waste and time.

I’ve submitted a bug for this. It’s being investigated

Yeah latest bambu studio version always tries to push for left hotend, very annoying, pretty sure it’s because of the x2d where they’ll want to always prioritise that left hotend, but it makes no sense on the h2c

Definitely a bug that needs to be addressed @SupportAssistant

Mines starting doing this recently, had to go on ā€œcustomā€ in the end and drag it over which isn’t ideal.
