Cannot change nozzle types in v2.2.2.56

I have a P1S and replaced the default controller interface with a BIQU Panda Touch. The Panda Touch has never been an issue but it lacks the ability to set the nozzle diameter or nozzle type. This has never been a problem before because I always specify this in Bambu Studio, however now it seems Bambu Lab have removed the ability to do this so after putting my 0.2 nozzle back into the printer I can no longer use it.

I propose you either:

  1. Remove this and go back to how it was
  2. Sell us a licensed, genuine, Bambu Lab screen (the same as used on the X1 series printers) to upgrade our P1 series printers.

Does anyone have a workaround for this other than “just take the PTouch off”? Can I roll back my Bambu Studio to the version before this change came in? I already had to roll my printer firmware version back so that the PTouch still actually works so if anyone has the specific Studio version where you can still specify nozzle sizes, please let me know

I think there was a whole discussion in this thread:

So I think you would need to roll back you version of B Studio, I have not seen any work arounds anyway.

Good luck
Edit: Looks like this was introduced starting with version 2.1, but as always I could be mistaken.

Here are all the previous versions if you want to roll back:

One suggestion, use a mount that lets you mount the PT and keep the stock screen for situations like this. Heres the one I use:

I don’t use the Panda and I had no idea you could actually keep both connected to the printer. Good idea!

Thank you. Yeah, the Touch only monitors the printer through wifi so you can really mount it anywhere and not modify the printer at all. I’m glad I kept the stock screen because not just the nozzle size but you also can’t turn the AMS 2 Pro drying on from the Panda Touch.
