Hello any time I have tried to print in colour I find it difficult to get it so its accurately and precisely coloured certain parts of the print, I have tried changing to Arachne and using Inner outer inner but to only slight help. Any helps appreciated

At first I thought better Arachne settings could fix that, but it really appears that it could be an object clipping issue or something else. Could you upload that object as a 3mf here?

Here are the arachne settings I was going to recommend… but doubtful that is the issue.

The picture you posted is the “Preview”? Could it be that the white sections are just the “Seem” indicators?

Can you uploaded the .3mf?

Heres the file

Hey I have dissabled the seems in the preview as I assumed this to be the issue at first. Ive uploaded the 3mf below and will admit I hardly use the coloured option compared to regular prints so this is a very new field for me so theres likely something simple im missing

I managed to make it a bit better by adding a 3mm sphere to the model, a workaround for thisone I guess. I never really use the painting tool because of this approximation that happens. It’s always much better to have a model as an assembly of parts which you can assign colours to. that way the slicer works better because the are objects.

You are correct!
Model painting and such options are far from perfect.
If you can’t use a modifier the only option to get proper results is to have a matching model so you assign a colour to the exact part and area.
Depending on what you do and what your source files are it is possible to do this with SVG files.
