Can't get profile to be available for all printers

My question would be; Why are you using Print By Object?

Having reviewed your model, there is absolutely no benefit that jumps out.

  • I hope you are not hoping to remove one before the other prints, you users surely will not.

  • You are using PLA, so there is no concerns over too many retractions like TPU would benefit from being done one at a time.

  • You are not using two different filament types or colours, so print by object is not helping you reduce swapping.

If this was mine, I would make one profile and turn off the Print By Object.

If you have a specific need I have not spotted requiring print by object, let me know and I will see what I can divine to reduce your profile total count.

I know I get get rid of one that you listed, I am hoping two, but I need to test things.

My thought process was on keeping the threads as clean as possible. With some of the cheap filaments I use, I found printing by object for certain functional parts beneficial. You have a good point, and I’ll change this model to be print by layer to avoid the 5 separate profiles.

It will be fine, I often include threaded models in amongst other parts.

Until Makerworld fixes the ‘print by object’ profile issue, I think separating objects to different plates is the right way to go. Especially if using different filament types and colors.
