Cant get rid of layering problems?

I’m really struggling with an issue I can’t seem to find a solution for.
I’ve tried a lot of things—changing various settings based on posts and videos I found online—but the problem still persists.
It happens with every filament I use, and even recalibration doesn’t help.

Let me try to explain: the outer walls appear to have an extra layer or wall, particularly when the printer finishes an area where the entire surface was printed and then moves on to printing walls only.

Youtube Short to demonstrate the issue

I tried a lot like
QUALITY

  • changing the initial layer height from 0.2 to 0.24
  • change the seam position to back or aligned
  • changing wall generator to anarche
  • changing order of walls to outter/inner
  • enabling “only one wall on first layer”
  • enabling “smoothing wall speed along Z”

STRENGTH

  • changed wall loops to 3 - 4 - 5
  • surface patterns to rectlinear
  • changed sparse infill pattern to gyroid
  • enabled infill combination

SPEED

  • changed initial layer to 25 mm/s

OTHERS

  • prim type to painted to have brim ears
  • disabled Reduce infill retraction

I’m honestly running out of ideas at this point, and I really don’t know what else to try. I’d truly appreciate any help or suggestions.

I actually have the same question because I get this on any and all prints over 3 inches tall with both my A1 and A1 mini. I have tried so many things an no matter what, Same height every time.

Look up “benchy hull line”

It’s warping/shrinkage. Nobody’s been able to find a cure other than printing unreasonably slow
