I’m doesn’t update for a long time for a reason (because printer stuck at "heating” when AMS connected), but yesterday I decide that’s its pass enough time and Bambu diffidently fix it.
So, I press “update” to this annoying messages on screen which appear every time after power on…
But after updating I can’t connect my printer to OrcaSlicer, so, I can’t print anything…
How to fix it?
Either give up the firmware update, or give up the printer… lol
Joke aside, simply downgrade your current firmware to the last firmware that worked with Orca, and you should be good to go.
I’m will be happy to stop firmware update (to not to broke things, which already working good), but this annoying message “update firmware” appear every time when printer power on… And its message doesn’t disappear with time… it stay forever…so, to disable this message i need EVERY TIME select “cancel” and press “ok”, and I’m already “misspress” it and update firmware…
so, as I see, bambu embedded department are not good with UI design… to many mistakes in simple things…
for now i found solution to made my printer “LAN only”
Cut off in your router the printer access to the internet and make sure you stay solely on LAN only. That should take care of unwanted updates and notifications.
Make sure you keep it in LAN MODE ONLY and Professsional mode on.
