Talk to BL, that they should give us the possibility to implement such things on our own - and I will invest my time
It couldn’t be that hard to identify a big colored object in the middle of the print plate - and when its suddenly gone a second later With the new nozzle-cam it should be even easier.
I sent a support ticket on Friday May 2nd. Bambu responded within 24 hours, informing me roughly of the same information as I received here, that this was an adhesion issue, and that I’d have to dig in to find out what was broken, and get back to operational.
They also asked for my shipping address, and on May 4th I was told that spare parts were on their way (heating assembly, nozzle, nozzle blocker).
I appreciate the reassuring words from everyone, it was not as bad as it looked. And hats off to Bambu for coming through with new parts without hesitation.
I’m hopeful that I’ll be able to get these parts cleaned up, and ready to step in for the next time something goes wrong!
I was honestly pretty surprised to see the original footage. I would have thought the big white blob moving in unison with the toolhead would be a pretty simple thing to spot, but I don’t know how big the computational impact would be. But even if it’s really slow, only do it as often as you can: occasionally take just a few images from key physical positions from the toolhead, and ensure the differences to the image are near to what is expected
