Chamber exhaust fan

Anyone have any details on the size? It looks quite standard……

Wondering if it’s possible to swap it over with a Noctua fan and whether it would be a little quieter……..

Pretty sure it’s a fairly standard 24V 120mm fan.

There are some models on makerworld to add external filtration to the exhaust fan. I printed one that uses an air filter from a Tesla Model 3 as they are easy to source and include carbon filtering. I found that it cuts down on the noise significantly.

This is the model for the existing fan. 120mm x 38mm thick, 24V, 1.6A.

Cheers - I think I may have a spare 120mm Noctua fan at home somewhere……

A 25mm fan won’t be able to extract as much air as the stock 38mm fan. So it might mess with chamber temps.
Also, most noise comes from the raised intake flap. If the flap is closed, it’s a lot more silent.
