Chamber Heating/Cooling Issue

Anyone else running into the insufficient chamber cooling warning/headache when the chamber was previously heated for a higher-temp filament (ASA) before swapping to a lower one like PCTG (3D-Fuel recommends 45C)?

Basically it doesn’t seem to kick on the exhaust mode to cool the chamber. It’ll just sit there indefinitely or until the ambient heat loss eventually brings it down. Seems sometimes the heater kicks on and overshoots as well. This has effectively prevented me from starting prints on it without physically going to the machine or manually toggling exhaust/cooling mode for a bit.

Seems to me the machine should turn on ventilation itself if the chamber is over by too much then heat back up to the target. Hoping I either missed something here or Bambu can add this behavior in an update.

I suppose I could try and add some G-Code to force on cooling mode after a print for a few minutes or for filaments like ASA/PC but I’d rather not mess with this machine very much.

If your printer has external filters or an external venting system, the best way to manage it for now is by using custom G-code or adjusting it manually.

You can try activating the air filtration in the filament settings, but first, you need to enable the air filter enhancement in the printer settings.

Be cautious, though, as you don’t want the ASA print to cool down too quickly, which could cause warping.
